Type the letters from your rack and, if your puzzle shows answer blanks, the length of each slot. The solver lists every compiled-lexicon word that fits each slot length, then a bonus list of other words the same letters can make, with short definitions shown inline.

Rack study
Short reference lists for letter-rack play, drawn from the same compiled lexicon as the Letter Rack Explorer. Every entry is a membership fact about the pinned ENABLE artifact plus plain tile arithmetic — not a ruling by any official game.
About the Rack and Slots Solver
This solver takes the letters on your rack and finds every spelling in our compiled lexicon that uses only those letters, each no more often than you supplied it. When you add slot lengths — the row of answer blanks that mobile letter-wheel puzzles show — results are grouped so each slot length has its own list, ranked by the build's documented usefulness heuristic, with a short generated definition beside each word. It works with games like Wordscapes and Word Cookies, and with any other puzzle built on making words from a small set of letters.
How to use it
- Type your rack letters (3–10; repeated letters matter).
- Optionally list the slot lengths your puzzle asks for, like
3, 4, 6. - Read each slot group top-down — higher build-tier words come first.
- Check the bonus list for every other word the same letters can make.
About the data and its limits
- Results are membership facts about one versioned compiled lexicon (data version v1/2026.07-lexical.6); they are not a universal English word list.
- A puzzle's own accepted-word list can differ in both directions: it may reject words shown here and accept words this build does not contain. No result is a claim about what any named game accepts.
- Rack-study lists state ENABLE-artifact membership only. ENABLE's reuse terms are under review, and membership is not an official tournament ruling.
- Tile sums are a transparent calculation over the repository-declared English tile values, not official game scoring.
- Ranking tiers are build-specific frequency bands ("common here" / "rarer here"), not universal usage claims.
- Definitions are short generated glosses for orientation, not authoritative dictionary entries; some words have none.
- The default view covers the first three ranking tiers; the rarer-matches toggle widens it to all five.
